Educated and trained both in West Tennessee and at The Edge of Belle Meade and Brentwood (two very progressive salons in Nashville, TN), Abby and Lyndsey are excited about bringing their many hair techniques and new ideas to Salon Arabella. During their time in Nashville, they were presented with many opportunities to work with entertainment artists as well as attend fantastic styling events, cutting edge hair shows and workshops as well as galas and benefit events. The twins were privileged to work with both the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Kats cheerleaders. They not only did hair and makeup before games, but also before many photo shoots for the ladies. Other clients included country music artists preparing for photo or video shoots. Travel was a major part of their schedule while in Nashville. They were one of the few American teams invited to attend an educational color workshop in Milan, Italy last September that was also attended by stylists from all over the world. They learned and worked hand in hand with stylists from the Russia, Vietnam, Italy, China and several more countries. The show’s sponsor – BES – has an outstanding color line that is made in Italy and that the girls will be using almost exclusively. BES hair care products will also be on sale in the salon and on their website. Another exciting engagement took Abby to Washington, DC with country music great Trace Atkins to help him and his wife Rhonda, prepare to meet the President and be honored for his contribution to the military. Lyndsey took time out to travel with Emma Mae Jacobs – a new, up and coming country music singer – to help her get ready for her shows with singer Tracey Lawrence. Abby and Lyndsey both attended The Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas to provide hair styling services for the artists and industry executives as well as their families. They also both attended the prestigious Orlando International Hair Show and visited the over 1000 booths filled with the latest and greatest products and services in the hair industry. Training sessions during the event strengthened their skills in everything from color and hair extensions to salon management. In September 2008, Abby and Lyndsey both refreshed their knowledge of applying natural, custom-blended hair extensions when they attended the Hair Extension In-Service and Workshop in Washington, DC. Then October of 2008, brought a trip to the London International Hair Show in England. Abby, Lyndsey, Sandy, Sherry, Carolyn and Montez invite everyone to come visit them at their newly remodeled salon. Salon Arabella offers services for men, women and children, along with pedicures, hair extensions and top of the line creative styling and hair color. The twins are also available for on-location styling for events such as pageants, weddings and more. Salon hours are 9AM-6PM Tuesday through Friday and 9AM-3PM on Saturday. Special event services are also available upon request and availability. Their phone number is 731-885-4811 or visit the website at www.salonarabella.com. |
